How difficult is it to remove passenger rear inside panel? I need to install the Mopar trailer/tow wiring harness. Thanks in advance.

Very easy on a KK. I don't know about the KJ, but it shouldn't be that different. All the interior panels on the KK are held in place by metal clips like the ones that fasten the plastic trim around the radio.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do the clips require a special tool, or do they "pull" out? I don't want to break any clips.

If I recall, it's circular plastic pop-clips (usual trim-panel tool with the "fork-tip" gets them out easily). Un-do the door handle fasteners first then go around the perimeter gently with that tool or a plastic spatula.

Yep - what Dan said. I've had mine off a couple of times. Simply sharp pull off, and press back on. I used no special tools and broke nothing. Just careful that you're pulling straight away from the mounting surface (not at an angle).

Yeah, you can do the "gentle yank" method a few times without issues, but it can weaken the plastic on the back side where the clips attach, so if DO have access to a tool it's recommended. Make sure you pry from the area as close to where the clips are located as you can. if you put something half-way in between them and "lever" it out at an angle (like Jayme mentioned) it can also potentially weaken/deform the plastic or break the clip. Youtube has some good videos on door panel removal that will show you the basics.
