Ok, so I missed taken the photo of the odometer at 100,000 miles (did get it at 101010 though! ).
So... I was sittin in the parking lot at work waiting for someone when I remembered the scene from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" where they raised the Ferrari on a jack and ran it in reverse to take off some miles from toolin around all day.

(I know, this is about the point where I see a really bad idea comin on....)

So, I start, yup, you guessed it, drivin around the parking lot in reverse.

2/10ths of a mile later, I realize that while I'm going backwards, the odometer is actually reading miles positively.
IE; 2/10th of a mile in reverse ADDS 2/10ths of a mile to the odometer reading.

Oh well, darn electronic monitors!

Could have told you that wouldn't work. At least it didn't turn out as bad for your KJ as it did for the Ferrari. Were you actually going to try to drive in reverse for over 1000 miles to get it back to 100,000?

In the beginning this was generally considered a bad move and made many people unhappy.

Cacher123: It only works if you push the car backwards. Takes out dents and repares engines too!

You were thinking of the wrong movie :D

I remember when I was a kid, my dad took the sensor out of some old car, hooked it up to his drill and ran it backwards for about 15,000 miles.
