I like that they reused the back glass and it looks like it still opens. Front bumper looks beefy. But the side exhaust?

I love seeing builds like this. But realistically, a bed that size is almost useless.

Can't tell from the pictures, but any idea if it has a working tail gate? If it does I hope it.comes down instead of to the side.

It doesn't look too bad -

but when you cut the top half of a Unibody off -

you lose a lot of structural strength

They did more than reuse the glass. If you blow up the picture you will see that they grafted the entire rear end onto it. The rear wiper and glass squirter are still there.

pure speculation, but im guessing with the quality of work done to that thing they knew to beef up the frame for the extra support needed. the tailgate folding down like a normal pickup truck would be cool, but with the weight of the tire added, it would be difficult to lift back up to close. looks neat, wish i had the time to tinker like that.

Useless, hell. I know some good ol' boys down here that would fill that bed up with ice, two kegs, a case of Jim Beam (or Old Turkey, Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, etc.) head to the ball game and PAARTAY.

I really appreciate the time effort and creativity people put into their Jeeps. :pepper: I do like the enclosed look of the side exhaust and especially like the diamond plate custom bumper. :D As for comments on usefulness, keep them. The KJ platform, which I have, has a limited cargo capacity especially if there is backseat passengers. If anything this custom ride has expanded the capacity by eliminating a enclosure issue. This dude (or dudet) can now haul a full siz :jester: e fridge without a trailer!

90% agree. Exhaust is my 10%. I think they did a nice job, I just don't like side exhaust. But since it's not mine, I'm 100% that they do!

That's pretty cool. Not digging the wheels but man they should win an award for the overall execution of it.
