So I just went for a ride.

When going kinda slow (35-40mph) around town and just giving a slight amount of gas, something wierd happens. When I let off the gas to coast, theres a little "clunk" (pretty quiet) and the RPMs seem to drop really fast down to idle. And I can feel the engine give some resistance. This doesnt seem normal.

Also, a couple times when coasting, the RPMs wiggled just a little bit up and down.

Any ideas whats going on here?

Try to turn off O/D and see if it continues to do that. Although it is not supposed to kick in at that speed. Just give it a shot.

Secondly, can you do a safe 0-60? See what you get, with no A/C, windows down, in 2x4.
