I can't believe you find FireFox slower to use than IE :D Well, I'm not doubting that you find it slow, but it might be indicative of something else with your machine.

Do you trust me enough to have me lay my grubby hands on your trusted computer?

Just FYI, I never use any thing in IE for security. I use other security packages to deal with things like this. Later...Clint

OK, figured out my problem with Clint not seeing my avatar.

We use firewall on the web server, and one of the things it checks for is any incoming address belonging to IANA reserved addresses. On this list, I have 71.0.0.0/8 and 72.0.0.0/8. These two subnets have been returned to ARIN and are taken out of the reserved list and evidently have been handed out to end users recently.

I have since updated my firewall blacklist to allow access from these two subnets. If you guys run firewall, you might want to check that you have not blocked these two :D

I find it interesting that people get so upset over other people using other browsers. I use Firefox, IE, and Opera depending on what I feel like at the particular time and they all of there benefits and downfalls.

My personal opinion is, if you like it, use it, if you don't like it, find something else. I know that one of the major reasons for people to get harmful software on there computer is because they are unfamiliar with the software. Software bugs account for very few cases of infection.

That is why I suggest that everyone get anti-virus and anti-spyware software, no matter what operating system you use. Everyone I know who has ever gotten a virus did it when they did not have a current up-to-date antivirus program. I think that is the only thing people should be concerned about other people having.

I don't mean to upset people who have pushed for FireFox (I use FireFox most often), but FireFox needs more time to get it running correctly than other browsers, and for that reason, FireFox is definately not for everyone. FireFox requires more computer familiarity to enjoy over IE, otherwise its just a waste of time.

TheChucklesStart - thanks for saying in a calmer, more diplomatic way what I was trying to get across: it's not the software.

Give me one address and lets get them all updated at once. Sorry i just really dont see the appeal in Foxfart. Sorry I just have to call it Foxfart cause it dang sure dont move like no fire...more like some slow fox fart...

I will run it a week or so just to see if it grows on me...but I have use it in the past and did not care for it then either.

Stupid internet. later...Clint

Oh my flipping word. Clint, you have no idea how hard I was laughing reading that. First of all, farts are dang funny. Second of all, it was FUNNY.
