Not to mention it "lost control"

another example of not driving according to conditions. Shame it had to happen.

If that KJ has skids and rock rails the weight would have keep the wheels going down first and it would have landed upright...

Scary ride indeed. The 23 year old driver is lucky to be alive. The fail alone must have been really frightening and then to be traped upside down in a frozen body of water... Even worse! There were some injuries suffered from the accident so I hope the driver can make a recovery.

"Lisa was driving a Jeep SUV Tuesday morning on the Perimeter Hwy. when she pulled out to pass another vehicle."

Its never a good idea to pass another car in the snow. She was probably just driving to fast.

Wait! Should we add this to that list of people that have wrecked b/c the Liberty is a bad vehicle!

That bridge is 2 minutes from home. She was lucky that the good samaritan that stop and ran down to the river to help her was an off-duty firefighter. Road conditions were pretty terrible that day and believe it or not thats not the first time an SUV has gone flying over the rails. After this story broke several other people have come forward saying how their SUV went flying over guard rails on bridges across the city. Also this bridge is a 2 lane each way, no reason why she couldn't have passed another vehicle. She likely goosed the throttle throwing her booty end out.
