I mounted my tank onto my All J rack in the same orientation. It seemed close to the back window when I first looked at it but it cleared. Thanks for the help fellas. Now all I have to do is find somewhere to fill this thing up and I am good to go for Wind Rock this weekend!

Getting ready to get a CO2 set up but after reading through things on the set up on various sites,
one question,
you have to have it sitting upright to work correctly am I right on this or wrong? Seems to me having it mounted sitting straight up would be more convienent instead of taking it out etc. everytime
Just random thoughts, always used compressors so all this CO2 stuff is new high tech stuff to me!!

Yes, if left horizontal, liquid will come out instead of air/vapor/gas...whatever. CO2 has to be in a vertical position.

Youu would need a really long hose to run it up to the front tires. That takes up more space. It wouldn't be that big of a deal to take the bottle out and have a short hose and move it from tire to tire. Save space for other things.

I am thinking of a container, for the tank and hose, that would mount to the roof rack that is water proof or at least just keeps rain out. Have it lockable so nothing can get stolen and provide more space for the inside of the KJ. You don't use it enough to be inconvenient to keep it there. The only concern would be heat buildup from the sun.

It takes 2 seconds for me to get my powertank out and I can carry it to each tire to fill.

I would not leave the CO2 tank in your vehicle when hot out.I only carry mine when I go on a trail or going on a long road trip, otherwise it sits in my apartment.

I just tried out my tank for the first time. I had to put about 5 - 7 psi per tire. Does your tanks start freezing over by the coupler right away? Should I be concerned?

Its a nice rack, I'll look around thank you. Good place to put a tank and organize things.

That normal,it will get a little frost going on that coupler.I'm sure the Florida's humidity is mostly to blame for is forming fast.

it is the humidity that is causing the frost
and it is not an issue
I was advised to try to keep the regulator on as much as I could to keep moisture out
if you get moisture in the regulator it will tend to freeze up and stop flow or slow it down
