I bought a walmart one today for 50 bucks. Needed alittle more space for our move in the morning. Already have my truck and trailer full

Its not a bad looking one. Claims to hold 300 lbs, and I stood on it awhile too

Of course I can't open the swing gate, but that doesnt bother me right now.

I really like the way that one looks, surprised it is rated at only 300 though, it looks tougher than some of the ones rated at 500

it came in 3 pieces, the sides and the middle bar. And it bolts together in the middle.

I would think the weak part is where it bolts together, but it does overlap the center bar.

With a more solid support welded acrossed the entire section, I'm sure it could hold more

Is it possible to use this in combination with a bike rack? I have the Mopar Tire mounted bike rack and would love to be able to carry just a little more gear to and from the camp sites.

That's why I luv having the front receiver hitch...I put the rack up there if needed to still have easy access to rear gate.

I picked up a hitch mounted cargo carrier and traffic code states the plate must be visible for 1000' with two lights. I'll be mounting plate on carrier and need cheap light kit. I hate giving a cop a reason to pull me over.

Here's one I made years ago and have used and modified for several different 4wds.
It cost me about $100 to build, at one time it was 50" deep and I actually carried my 2wd atv on it! Now it only 20" deep and 60" wide. It has carried everything from, deer to camping supplies to taking the trash down to the main road every week! I had to extend it to use on my CRD to clear the spare tire.
