I've had really good luck in the for sale forum. I think our for sale section works very well. Most of the prices are honest and the sales seem orderly and self regulated. [of course - I haven't needed to buy anything from there in a while]

I am going to make a public apology to WoodyKJ. I was going to purchase his rims and tires from him. I fully attended to drive from Columbus, Ohio to Louisville, KY (6 1/2 hour round trip) and pick up the rims and tires this Sunday (3/16). However, on Friday I learned that my Liberty will not be done at the body shop for the next few weeks. It should have been completed on Friday 3/7 (I really could have used it this weekend with all the snow). The Liberty is my mine only source of transportation and I explained to WoodyKJ that I was going to attempt to find another way to pick up the rims/tires on Sunday like I originally attended to do (the Honda Civic rental would not hold all five rims/tires).

Again it was never my intention not follow through with my purchase, it is simply a matter of my Liberty not being repaired on time (which is completely out of my control).

With all that said, WoodyKJ I am sorry that I was unable to hold up to my end of the arrangement. I hope that my public apology helps restore your faith in the LOST community.

I have a fairly limited background with all of the LOST group but honestly... what is everyone complaining about? Sure, deals go south.... people disagree... somebody always has to fart in the elevator. I have met 2 people from this site and we all went wheeling and had a great time. I have bought one thing from here and it went just fine.

If people want boring facts, there are plenty of computer tech help forums.

If you want to bicker about nothing, go to IMDB.

If you want pity from the masses, go to answerology.

If you want to talk about some cool jeeps with some cool people... then by all means stay.

As far as this deal gone a rye... sounds to me like you guys should meet in the middle when his Jeep is fixed, do some wheelin, have a beer, swap manly stories, make a friend, and do the deal.... then no one's Image gets hurt.

And now for something completely different.... a dancing banana Image

LOL kind of like Image just kidding

OK, thanks for clearing that up, Can't see that Jelly / jello would go with p-butter.

Now, Vegemite is great stuff. Thin on toast like Fros said is best, add a coffee and your set :D . Wouldn't have it with peanut butter

Oh CD, you really need to try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. My personal favorite is grape but folks use other flavors too. The slightly salty peanut butter and the sweet jelly/jam just go together so well, it's that whole sweet/savory combination, kind of like a chocolate dipped pretzel 8)

Ed,

Thanks for the apology. Un-neccessary, but thanks. As you noticed i didn not mention any names. I just wanted others to approach the sale and all of these forums with the respect they deserve. I know others are saying "Look who's Talking" and "Doctor, Heal Thy Self" kind of stuff right about now.

Your emails mentioned that you were waiting for the KJ to get out of the shop and I understand that part I had hoped that it meant that you were still working to close the deal but just on another schedule. The your emails said that you were not going to buy them, Peroid! That part I didn't understand.

I have had others post some comments on 4 sale posts that were critical and not productive and even went so far as to chase away potential buyers. This was just another example, to me, that some don't respect the "Honor of Offer & Acceptance" asspect of the forum. For my reaction I am sorry. Justified, i think, but sorry. For the very reason that this is not StealBay, we, i felt , should respect that "Honor of Offer and Acceptance" practice.

I will honor our deal IF you find that you want to and IF they are available when and if that time comes. Hell I'll even meet ya in Covington!

Thanks again for the apology. Please accept mine.

NO I am Not Hugging ANYBODY!!!!!!

Vegimite isn't bad. I can see where it might me an acquired taste, but I think there is still a jar in my pantry ( I have a bad habit of hanging out with Australians. They often lead me astray in terms of drink, late hours, and other such activities. We have a friend who comes here once a year to sell opals and another who comes to buy Harley and muscle car parts to ship back home. Pretty good guys. I'd love to go to their place for a visit).
