Good to hear. I read in a previous post someone...can't remember who....was saying the "Edition" thing was no good....I personally think its awesome. they'll go so well on my 06 Renny. Especially now, that just today I ordered my 5 Goodyear MTRs (245 75's of course) and my Rockfather 2.5" lift...so when I get those installed...to have that badge on the doors would look completely amazing....really looking forward eagerly to whole thing....my mods and the badges.

Keep me posted Pixel...VERY INTERESTED

I second (or twenty third or whatever) the vote for the rectangular badge. I would probably take three of them, two to replace the "limited edition" badges on the doors, and one to go under the "3.7L" on the rear door. A while before this thread started i had talked to one of my friends about taking off the "limited edition" badge, and getting something similar painted on there that said "UNlimited Edition" just a thought, i may be too late in the design phase now, but i thought i'd throw the idea out there to see what everyone else thinks.

Here's almost an exact replacement for the factory badge, although i think it would look better in billet. And the "UNLimited Edition" would just replace the "Trail Tested Edition" or whater, the "L.O.S.T. KJ" and mountains should stay.

what about renegades or sports? I wouldn't want to get rid of my renegade badges for sure. I'd rather stick to the trail tested/proven edition w/pixel's design.

I like the idea of the tested ed. also but imagine the look on a dealers face IF ( & I stress IF ) you ever traded it in with that badge " what year did they come out with that edition?" the look would be priceless, because it would look official  but that's my strange sence of humor

I'm sure you could slap that badge on a sport or renegade too, it's all a matter of preference. I am in no way saying that these badges should only be used on the limiteds, i just think it would be a nice touch to add to any KJ. I had made that little badge up a while ago before this thread started, but i like the idea of a L.O.S.T. KJ badge even more, I was just suggesting the "unlimited edition" words as a substitute for the "trail tested/proven/ready edition" denomination. As I said, just a suggestion, i'm definately going to buy one of these new billet badges either way, i just figured i'd throw the idea out there.

Alright, guys. I had to change the font because the one I was using would not work on the manufaturers equipment. Every part of every letter has to be at leasy 0.064 inches wide/tall becuase thats what the bit on the CNC machine he uses is. We also can;t slant the letters becuase that makes angles that the bit also can't get into.

Here's a design with a cnc friendly font that should work on the equipment much better. It's not as slick as the previous version, but it will still look awesome IMO.

This would look really good below my factory CRD badge in the back. Not sure how it would look on the doors. Any photochoppers out there want to do a side view of a KJ with one of these on???

Here are my 2 ideas for placement as my renny already has a lot of badging on the back - 2 on left and 2 on right. This is kinda unrefined, and I am not sure if the proportions are right - or the alignment, but these general areas are what I'm thinking.

darn pixel, you beat me to it...lol, well here are mine anyway, you can't see the front door one too well, but it would replace the black "limited edition" badge. When i get home and have access to all of the full-resolution pics (i'm in school right now...lol) i'll re-do them with a bit of a zoomed view...

Like i said, i'll try to get some better ones up in a bit.
