Just spoke to John. He's got 9 orders in, but hasn't checked the fax or email yet today. He'll put together a list and email it to me tomorrow. I'll post that on here and we'll have to cross reference screen names with real names, then see where the missing 6 orders are. My list shows 15 people placed orders versus his 9.

I talked to him at about 4 - 4:30pm Tuesday. He said I was order 10. I e-mailed my info to him shortly there after.

Spoke to John (3:30 Thurs) and he's got another two orders in since last night. He and I will compare lists tomorrow.

PLEASE, if you really placed an order, ie, you gave him your credit card info and are expecting your collar, make sure your name is marked correctly on post #2 of this thread. Also, if you didn't place an order but I have you marked as such, please post or PM me on that as well.

I'm concerned because our list shows 15 and I think he's only got 11 orders or so.

When I placed my order I did not tell John that I was KJ02 my order is under Alex Salcedo.

UPDATE: JUNE 30 at noon:

John and I spoke. He will tabulate the list and fax it to me on wednesday morning since the manufacturer is closed monday and tuesday. He wanted to give those few extra people a chance to get in on this order after reading our posts!

So this is it, your LAST chance. Fax, email, stop by or whatever. just place your order and then post it here.

I think we're going to have over 20 orders. Thanks for making this a pretty smooth group buy!

Hopefully we'll have the things quickly now, especially given the size of our order.

I think we really showed this vendor that it pays to get LOST! (if you know what I mean.)

It's not too late. Call or fax your order in to John. See 1st post for his contact info. Orders can be sent in over the weekend.

He said he will keep this open through tomorrow(Sat) and that he had 20 or so already.

Called John today and confirmed he had received my order. He said there were approx 15 orders and he is most likely closing the order today.

John will send me the final list by tomorrow morning and I'll post it here if the count doesn't match what we have in post #2 of this thread. If the count is correct, I'll just tell him to place the order.

The order was placed today!!!

They have 25 pieces! I only show 22, so I'm sure it's ok. John will email me a list of names that I'll post here, just as a final double check. If someone sees their name missing, they should be able to call John Monday morning and he feels confident that he can correct it then. BUT THAT'S IT! This a special order and it's "locked," as he put it.

Pretty good, folks. 25 pieces. That's nearly $2k in business for this guy and we get a decent price on a special order part that would have been over $100 separately.

Aw, crap! I've been out of town and totally missed this post until today! I've been waiting for a group buy or something to come together for months!

Group buys really ought to last longer than a week.

Any chance of getting in on it, or is it closed tight?
