I got an Ebay rack from a fella in Flagstaff AZ. Custom made and its is awesome. Price was as good as off the rack racks. You'll have to mention what you are looking at on eBay before I can tell you if its the same guy.

And Yup you need to make your own cross bars and mounts but that's easy. Hardest part is the TIG welding but I had a friend.

I used Thule cross bars and u-bolts....to mount the E-bay rack on my land rover.

I bought a 48 x 72 inch rack to fit on my previous vehicle a Land Rover Discovery. I sold the land rover and the rack is six inches too wide for my Liberty. I recommend a 42 x 72 inch rack for the Liberty.

I am going to take the rack by the Ag Shop at my former high school and let them cut it down and weld it back together for welding practice.

I will also have them fab some pillars that bolt into the factory mounting points. I will bolt the Thule cross bars to to the pillars.

I will attach the rack to the cross bars with wingnuts so I can remove it as needed.
