After MUCH searching, I finally found a place that sells a front end protector (bra) that includes a bug screen.

It is a Mopar product and is available from any Jeep dealer. JParts (Savage 61 Dodge) is well known among L.O.S.T. and usually has the best prices on Mopar accessories. |

From my link to the bra (in my posting above), they are Listing this Bra for a 2005 Renegade. Does the 05 Renegade have a front end like that in the pic ??
