Dear Ed H, Thank you for your question. The ball joint in this control arm is sealed for life (non-greasable) and isn't replacable as a separate unit. Hmmm.....guess he is just mentioning that the replacement upper arms are not serviceable? Shame Moog hasn't addressed that yet. |

Yes I believe they do. I know there has been an aftermarket one out for a while now. I figured Moog made it but only saw it listed in a Napa catalog. |

Interesting, I checked Moogs catalog and sure enough K3198 fits 02-04 Liberty's I wonder if its design allows for any more clearance from the spring on lifted applications. The picture they have for it is this:

Why "poor Al"? The Moog doesn't correct any geometry issues from lifting and isn't servicable, it is a stock replacement. I would buy Al's arms over these any day. Any extra cost is worth the peace of mind of being able to service or replace the ball joints. |

I thought the question above asked if it was a stock replacement with no other changes...if its just a replacement then ---> Yay! AL! I'm ordering my Upper A-Arms from AL tonight anyway! |

Seems many aftermarket items are not made exactly the same as OEM. I was just curious if possibly there was a little more clearance. Stinks its not greaseable but I would take a Moog non greaseable over an OEM any day. McQuay-Norris makes one also, #FA4092 $176.00 list.

Correct. They are in production and should ship out by the end of next week or so. Labor day vacation will push that out a little to. |
