I run the 2.5" coil lift. I love it! Rid eis 100 times better than stock. No bouncey bounce bounce. Ride is a lot stiffer than the stock setup. Honestly this is the best kit for the money that is out there, IMO. I have been completely satisfied since i had it on and wheeled the hell outta of it too. I run 24/75/16 MTRs and I had to trim the pinch weld and the bottom of the front bumper other than that i haveno rubbing. Hope this helps ya. |

Thumbs up! No problems and I have been to Moab twice and hit the rocky trails here in Colorado. Smooth ride on the road. You can get 31's on and if you get the big lugged tires (MTR's/MT's), you definitely will need to work on the pinch weld but that is common for all lifts. |

Ditto. Get the upgraded Rancho shocks. are they RSX or something like that. They fit better than the Rusty's. Best bang for your buck by far. Rides great on and off road. All that have posted so far really wheel their KJs too so you know it's tough. |

Do you have to trim the pinch weld with a 255/70/16 ? Also does anyone have experience with the new billstein shocks? Is the front struts from rustys decent or should I go with the ranchos in the front as well? Thanks David |

With rustys lift, 245/75/16s will fit even on an MT. My BFGs only rub the front fender air dam at full lock. It clears the pinch weld no problem. Its only when you add wheel spacers that you need to hit back the pinch weld. |

Thanks man, I think I have a pic of your jeep saved.. Nicely done, but outta curiousity when you say wheel spacer do you mean 1/4inch or like the 1 1/4 inch spacers? Thanks David |

Hope im not wearing ya out with questions but I have been quite curious on how well those spacers fit, how much do they dig into the pinch weld? barley/alot?? Also with the spacers do the tires touch the fenders at full jounce? I bet it looks really good with them on though.. |

My 30" BFG MTs grab a decent chunk of the pinchweld but I am running 4.25" backspacing. At full jounce or stuff they tuck up under the fender but barely. Some sheet metal will need to be "manipulated" at that backspacing. If you stay around 4.5 or 5" of BS you will be OK. Rustys struts feel pretty good to me.... better than stock for sure. |

I have the OME 1.5in lift with 255/70 tires on 16x8 5" BS rims. They rub very little on the pinch seem and around the fog light door. If I had a 2in lift they wouldnt rub at all, so Im going to do a small clevis lift to fix it. I had to get extended bumpstops in the rear b/c of the rubbing on the fender at full flex. |
