Is it possible to have RSS feeds of new posts from this forum?

Whadda we look like geeks here?!... Well come to think of it, a few seem to be...

None the less, I don't think so, but what do I know?

I'm sure they could be, but it probably comes down to importance, as in what do The Staff want to work on most that will benefit the site the most. And also how much it would be used. Most times that I've seen them on other sites, they've been on the main page, not the forum pages. But then I have limited experience with setting them up, so maybe The Staff will chime in on this.

The reason I like it is that you can add it into Gmail, so that when you log in, it shows you the newest topics... etc...

well, since I do not know what it is I am either behind the times or not a geek! :D ... That would be a first :? unless nerd and geek are no longer synonomous?

Basically it's content summary (news articles, forum excerpts, whatever) in a newspaper format on a page that links to the actual content in the same site or on another site. As a basic example, the news articles on msn, yahoo, etc. You see a summary that links you to the article.

If someone has a better explanation, please elaborate.

Not that this is better, I was beaten to the reply....

Click Here to discover RSS feeds.

I'm not sure how it works for peecee user's (IE), however RSS is built-into Apple's Safari web browser. For example, if a web site you nav to has RSS feeds, a blue "RSS" button is automatically inserted on the right hand end of the browser's address (URL) bar. You click on the RSS button and instintly go to the feed on that web site. This also allows you to bookmark RSS feeds as well.

For Window's users, you can use a program called FeedReader. It's what i've been using for over a year now. Works well, and is free. If you guys want to set it up and need help, i may be able to help, PM me.

Or you can use Firefox and one of it's 8 million available plugins. :) IE is bad news, stay away!
