I'm trying to locate some "Limited" style flares and bumper covers for my 05' white liberty sport...I'd like my jeep to be all one color vs the two tone. Anyone know where my best bet to find these at are?

I saw a Jeep Liberty Sport that had all those components painted, it didn’t look bad. Ever thought of taking them off and painting them? I’d try that before buying new ones.

You can paint plastic to match the metal body color? I'm thinking about painting them black to match the handles and mirrors but I'm not sure painting them white would look so good... :?:

Yes, there is a special paint that is used on the plasit car stuff these days. I checked it out at a macco when I was looking at painting my ford toraus and was concerned about the frount bumper being plastic. They have a special paont that bounds to plastic.

Color, now that is up to you. :)

Give it a try. I've heard that the plastic is pretty tuough to get paint to stick to. Maybe this special paint will really work......

I think they would look good painted like the "Columbia Editions" that were out one year or so. I think that is what they called them. They were a glossy battleship grey and they looked sweet. Gave the KJ the same contrast as the sport but dressed up...

OK, they were the Rocky Mountain Edition that had the contrasting fender flairs

Had a Camaro w/plastic bumpers. When I got them painted after they were replaced from an accident, they bodyshop had to use something called a "Flex coat" to get the paint to stick and not flake off. Most auto bumpers are plastic and just about all of them have to be painted so I'm sure the paint is available in the color you need. May have to be proffesionally applied for it to work though.
