Darn. I was thinking you actually got one. I saw one at an outdoors expo a few years back and they are awesome. I think I'd get it Line-X'd instead of painted all shiny though.

By the way, anyone notice the AEV wheels on the KJ and the trailer? Looks pretty good. What do those Tentrax go for anyway? I'm gonna guess a good chunk of change.

These are not priced so we can run right out and get one. I think they start at $3000.00 for a base model and with the lift, paint, tent, ETC. from $5000.00 to $9000.00. A bit too pricey for me for what it is. Looks cool though, I was looking at them before I found out the price. I just got a wells cargo mini wagon instead. Same bolt pattern as the jeep so I matched the tires and rims.

It is really cute and a nice small size but I'd totally go for an Adventure Trailer first if you really wanted to use it for off road camping. Much better quality on the tent, tons of storage and items you can incorporate and sturdy as all heck.

Ditto. Fiberglass is for boats and Vettes, Not off road trailers. :wink:

Anyone ever use one of the Adventure trailers/tents in the rain? All the pics I've ever seen were in the desert. It rains up here in the Pacific Northwest, this is Goretex country, I'd like to run the AlCan, etc. with something also.

Ahhhh, nothing like Goretex is there? Wouldnt it be cool to have a tent made out of that stuff? :lol:

Ive got a pair of shoes from Dicks sporting goods with that stuff in them. Ive never had a wet foot.. I even stuck them under water about 4in and nothing came through! Awesome stuff I must say!

Here is a off road trailer that really works well, the full kitted out trailer will set you back about $14200 but then you have every thing from a Honda generator for the wifes hair drier to a hot shower and a two compartment fridge and freezer that works well! The stove and a king size bed. It takes 2 people about 10 to 15 minutes to go from closed to fully set up and about 20 to pack up. The Kj pulls it really well. Wow! Those rock....but is that the cost by American dollar? Way expensive but you sure get a lot. The Commander is the bomb. Even comes with Special K ( see picture)......hahaha!

Yes thats in US dollars, You dont have to take every thing that they have on offer but for that price you get every thing thats on that list rite down to knives and forks. and the special K :lol: The sides close rite the way around so the wind never blows in. Just by the way a 2.8L CRD Limited KJ costs around 45700 US dollars and 12% interest on your car furnace. :cry: So be happy at 24000 or so dollars you all pay.

I've got a 2005 Tentrax for sale. Paid over $9K for it with all the options. It's the base white tub color. I've only used it a couple times (still smells new) - and am still very impressed with it. I hate to sell it. My needs have since outgrown it though. It sleeps two - and I now travel with more than one other camper. If you're interested - call me at 541-480-2447.
