so from my last post it sounds like the slip yoke does not have a grease fitting, in that case do I need to take it apart to grease it?

yep, you must take the driveshaft off, and put some grease in the slip yoke, reinstall. It is never easy without a grease fitting. You could always drill and tape a zerk into the yoke.

So would duct tape do the trick?

I believe he was referring to the use of "tape" rather than "tap"...
