| Post subject: | Bumper and or Grille Guards |
After my close encounter with a long lost relative of Bami I am looking for a good bumper or grille guard that will not cost me an arm and leg. Any options that you can direct me towards would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

I can't say whether they work or not, but a lot of people around here put those deer alert "silent" whistles on their bumpers. I have used them for years and not have had a problem, but who knows if it is luck or they really work. They are cheap, less than $ 10 for the pair. |

How about a gun turret to mow down those pesky critters? |

My experience is that the "deer alerts" don't work. When I was a LEO I handled more than one car/deer accident that had them on the vehicle. That said I wouldn't stop/criticize someone for putting them on their vehicle. They are cheap peace of mind and who knows, maybe the deer that got hit were deaf. |
