And another really good media clip for the KJ.
It seems that when ever we hear about a jeep involved in any MVA's, the KJ always comes out the best in the wreck.

It is the one reason I don't complain about the weight...I rolled my old KJ off a 15' cliff end over end then side over side...landed on its wheels and never stopped moving forward...had to apply the brakes to stop it and look at the damage. Crunched the hood pretty good but didn't break any windows or mirrors...even the roof rack was still in place. Definitely a solid vehicle.

I have a friend who is a cop, in my hometown and said he saw a KJ that had slammed into a utility pole at high speed. Very little damage compared to your typical head-on crash with a pole and the driver was only slightly hurt.

Sorry the other driver didn't make it but the others did.

I saw photos of this wreck on Sunday taken from a news chopper. It was ugly but the KJ definately held up. There was nothing left of the front of the Saturn, lefthand front of the KJ took the hit.

This happened just a few minutes ahead of me on my way to work that night. The police passed me at a high rate of speed w/ lights & sirens then pulled sideways across the expressway and forced me off at the exit. When I slowed for the exit, some nut passed me and almost t-boned the cruiser. The officer who was putting out flares even jumped out of the way.
