I noticed after receiving a PT Cruiser rental once the Libby was in the shop that the radio in the PT Cruiser would stay on even after the iginition key was shut off. Once the door was open the radio would cut off.

However in my 05 Limited Libby with the RBQ radio, the radio does not stay on after the ignition key is turned off. Funny thing, the power windows remain operational after the ignition is turned off, but not the RBQ.

Sure would be nice if both the power windows and radio were operational after the ignitiion was turned off? Anyone else noticed this?

The radio not staying on is a great feature for me since I can add the CB to the radio power and not be afraid of accidentally draining my battery and be dead on the trail :)

To each his own, I guess.

I do see the value of that, but the radio cuts out after you open the door. Is there still a way to have a risk of draining the battery if the power on the radio cuts when you open the door?
