I've noticed that when I park on a steep hill and then try to back up that the KJ is very jerky, almost to the point of lurching up the hill. Also, when in reverse, it will roll forward with ease, the tranny won't hold the KJ on the hill. On level ground reverse is very smooth and I can't duplicate it. Anyway have any ideas? I've only got about 4,000 miles left on the 36K warranty and was wondering if I should take it in for this?

I believe it's a common trait. There should be some old threads on it if you search...

Has to do with the auto tranny pan and where the oil pickup is.

Thanks everyone, you've put my mind at ease. I can live with it now that I know it's not a repairable problem with my KJ.
