every so often my libby will just crank and crank and crank over, and wont fire up, it will spit and sputter then fire up after i crank it again. and then sometimes it is fine.

any ideas to troubleshoot before i take it to satan?

Anyone have any input on this? I'm buying a CRD Saturday and I couldn't drive it last night due to the same problem...salesman tried to tell me it was out of fuel, but it had a third of a tank. Mechanic so far has relashed ECM and updated all the software... has started succesfully several times now, but this was an intermittent failure and the problem might not be entirely gone...

Are you buying your gas from the same place every time? One possiblitiy is that you are getting some unclean fuel from time to time.

usually yeah from the same sunoco, but it did it when i brought it home from the stealer as well. perhaps some lucas injector cleaner or drygas or both is in store
