I had my balljoints done (twice now) on my '03 renegade for the recalls. Afterward my steering wheel is now turned slightly off center while driving straight and the truck pulls slightly to the right. The dealer claims that nothing they did would have affected the alignment.

I've noticed a few other people complaining of alignment problems. So I thought I'd throw a poll up and see.

Didn't have an alignment done after mine about 3 weeks back and all seems to be well...until winter decides to let all the pot holes in the world form here in memphis...then i might have to have an alignment due to pot hole damage...grrrr

I am having my ball joints replaced this week and I plan to have them perform an alignment at their expense.

No, my alignment didn't change, but something else happened.

I'm not sure if it's back to 'stock' or not, but now it seems like quite a bit of resistance for my Libby to go forward. I always have to maintain a heavy foot on the highway, too. Sems like there's quite a bit of drag, or a lot of friction somewheres...

No alignment issues after the recall for me. In fact, my Liberty feels about 50% more stable on the roads and at highway speeds after the recall.

I had to have mine aligned after the left front lbj failed. dealer said it didn't need it, took it back 3 weeks later, showed them the wear on the tires and the definite pull, they rotated my tires, told me it could be the tires, or air pressuer, and asked if I know what "road crown" was. I told them I new aht was wrong, and thanked them for completing the last service I would ever lt them do. I took it to my local NTB, where they showed me the alignment specs before they made adjustments. According to the tech at NTB, he hadn't seen one that far off in a long time. So I no longer let the stealership touch Libby. Almost forgot, I did get my recall notice, and of course, they have no LBJ's in stock, and I should call back in December and try to schedule then. I'm just glad I bought the 3 year unlimited alignmnet package at NTB!
