Ok, the boss decided she wants seat covers instead of floor mats now. Does anyone have a good source for them? I've been looking at the ones on Ebay but I don't know...I'm not too worried about price but I don't want to take out a second home loan either...

Thanks

For the price, the black neoprene mopar seat covers cannot be beat. They come with the fronts and the rears for only $267+shipping from jpart.com.

I paid $300 for just the fronts from Wet Okole.

Actually, shipping is FREE for orders over $75.00 at jparts. I ordered a set earlier this week and they are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I did have to pay tax though. I'm in PA and the shipping order shows they shipped from Reading, PA, maybe that's why.

Anyways, I'll hopefully be installing them and posting some pics of them this weekend. Keep a lookout for my post, or even better I'll send you a PM when I post the pics.

I've had the Mopar seat covers for almost a year now and they are great. I had some difficulty installing them but since then they have saved me as much in cleaning costs (car sick dog). I strongly recommend them.

I have to agree, the Mopar ones seem to be the best deal going. I'm not 100% happy with the way the rear seat cover fits, but other than that they are great. They are made of neoprene so putting them on is about like putting on a wetsuit and they can be a pain to get the headrests to fit and look right. Just keep working at it and you shouldn't have too many problems.

My Mopar covers came today and I started installing them this evening. You guys are right, they are not that easy to install. They are thick and seem like they may need a little time to break in. I did the drivers seat first, and it went on OK. The only part that didn't fit real snug was the head rest part of the seat.

Next I did the rear drivers side. What are you supposed to to with the little flap that goes through the seat and has velcro on it??? I slid it through the upper and lower parts of the seat and velcroed it to some carpeting, but it doesn't seem to stay that tight. The rest of that cover went on fine, but I'll have to look at it in the daylight to get a better fit.

I still have to clean the passenger side seats, before I can put those on. Once I do I'll take some pics. Hopefully tomorrow or Sunday.

The only thing at this point I did not like about them is that they do not cover the entire back of the seats (front or back). I don't know if other covers do, but I was hoping they would. I have two boys (2 yrs & 6 months) and I was hoping the covers would help protect the seats from them kicking the backs all the time. Plus I put my dog in the back, and I was hoping the covers would protect the entire back seats from her drool. Other then that I was impressed with how thick they were and how they looked. I think they'll do their job just fine.

Sounds like you had about as much fun deciphering the hieroglyphics as I did and making them work. Good news is they seem to look better after a few days of sitting on them and breaking them in, so to speak. The rears fit weird and I couldn't get the flaps that tuck between the seat back and bottom to reach anything more then carpet also, so I assume that is how they go. I would prefer something a little more secure, but I suppose that will have to do. They haven't given me any trouble yet and seem to be staying in place just fine though.

Toss em in the dryer before you put them on...they'll stretch easier.

I thought I'd have mine installed this weekend but I got delayed and only got the drivers side seats covered. I'll post some as soon as I can.

For $500 I'll just replace the entire seats when they get dirty.

Wow this is a patient group. :D

I felt bad I said I would have some pics posted this past weekend, but was unable to produce. I still haven't got all of my covers on, but I figured I'd post some pics of what I have done.

Please keep in mind the covers taking some working to put on, and I think I can still do some stretching to make them fit better. Overall I'm happy with them.

Here's some of the front drivers seat:

Here's a few of the rear drivers side. This one does not have a Jeep logo on it but the passenger side does. In the pic of the back of the seat, the cover is bunched up a little because I just took a car seat out and the strap runs over the top of the seat.

Hope this helps.
