I am interested in replacing my Liberty emblems with the KJ Cherokee emblems. Anyone know where I could nab some of these?

Google some European dealerships or check ebay. Bet you can find some, but they'll be more $$$ to ship than they cost I bet.

Here in the Middle East all dealers have them for the KJ, but I don't know if they have on-line dealing or not.

Try checking online or with your dealer on some replacement badges for a 'Cherokee Classic' (1999-2001 I think). Same exact size and font as the 'Liberty' badges on the '02-'04 models (where its above the door trim). And I think the badges for the Grand Cherokees are the same style/size, just discard the 'Grand' and apply the 'Cherokee'.

I guess you could go with blank side molding from an 02-04 and one of the suggestions above. If you can find the export part number for the door molding on an 05+, you might be able to get it in the states thru a dealership.

Oops, didn't see that yours is an '06. First couple of suggestions might get you what you need.

No, they are not the same size on cherokee 1999-2001. as they are bigger.

Hmm, looked at one and could have sworn it was the same size. I don't think the size difference would be a big deal, but since he has an '06 where its molded into the door trim piece I guess its a moot point.

The part number for Cherokee emblems at least for the 2004 is: 55156 272AG and cost 60 dollars here in Chile plus shipping, i don't know how much is shipping to US.

Here is a download of the door moldings page from the '05 part list. (Yea i know the KJ in the diagram looks like an '04, but its the '05 part numbers). You can go here with part numbers and look up prices. The problem is that 3 sets of moldings are listed as Export, not including chrome moldings. The good news is that all of them seem to be available from the website, at $33/molding.

I've thought changing the moldings in the past, but wasn't willing to take a guess as to which ones to get. If anybody else tries/knows for sure which to get, i might also be interested in swapping out my door moldings.

It's not that it isn't a good part number, it is, it's just probably not what the original thread poster is looking for. I mentioned it in my first post to the thread....there is a difference between the 02-04 and '05+. Starting in '05 the word Liberty is part of the plastic door molding, not a badge. So getting a badge that said Cherokee wouldn't work well because it would sit right above a big piece of plastic that said Liberty. That's why i supplied the parts for the moldings, it's probably what Tr1cK was originally wanting to replace.

SS Virus:
Parts sizes aren't listed on the website or where i got the part number. You may see if a local dealership has sets from both years so you can compare them side by side. Not only for size, but to make sure all the alignment holes are the same on both moldings. To give you an idea what i'm talking about, a guy in this thread removed his moldings and repainted them. I would guess they are basically the same, but i wouldn't try a swap without making sure.
