dimmer/dome switch stop working

my dimmer/dome light just stop working, what gave? no fuses were burnt out... any remedy for this? please help

Check the dimmer ring on your turn signal, rotated past dim will turn dome lights off and past bright will turn them on.

that part stop working too, it wont even turn the dome light on or off...
