Hi everybody,

Im leaving on vacations for 24 days in Italy tomorrow. The KJ will stay parked at my in laws for the whole time. Are there things that I can do to prevent any "damage" or mishaps while Im gone.

The only thing I did was to fill her up since gas prices don't seem to stop climbing.

Thanks !
BTW, if anybody has recommendations for the trip, please share :)

I don't have any tips, but I can share my 28 day experience while I was in Germany. I didn't do anything special, just parked it in the garage and left. My garage is on a little incline, so I put it in neutral and rolled her back a bit. Not sure if that does any good, but it made me feel better before I started it. (Thinking the oil would move around a bit when it rolled back) That was four weeks ago, and all is ok.

As for your trip to Italy! I spent two nights in Florence, beautiful! The locals are extremely friendly. The food is amazing as well.... You're going to have a blast!

Safe travels!

Cheers,
-Larry

Arrival Rome, then heading south Brindisi via Pompei, Salerno. Back north to Bologna, Vienne, Verona, Milan, Genova, Pisa, Florence, Sienna and departure from Rome ...

I have a train pass, so I basically go where the train goes :)

i went in all those places 2 times, very very fun travel :) Lots of beautiful things, good food arff :)

take some money on the bank when you arrive or before leaving because lots of shop, restaurant and so on do not accept credit card. Their prefer cash.
I know one people just come back from Florence, and this tip its already true.
Its the first thing that he told me last week :)

Take some photo to show us if you can.

I was in Naples for 2 years and Italy was awesome, I want to go back their sometime in my career. Depending on what train pass and train you are riding you may want nose plugs. Most of the Itialians don't use deodorant ad the BO can get pretty bad on some of the cheaper trains.

Also Itialian food is awesome but some of the stuff is a little different so make sure you ask what you are getting.

Do you speak any Itialian??
