Just purchased a set of leather, power heated seats for my 05 Liberty Sport. How difficult is it to install? Is there a chance the power connectors are already there? Anyone made this change? Any suggestions would be appreciated. The seats are from a 03 Liberty Limited. Any problem with the airbag senser built into the passanger seat on the 05?
Thanks,

I can't help you on the power connections as I've never tried this myself but the seat mounts shouldn't have changed between years.

There wil be a 12V power wire there for the seat belt signal - you might be able to tap into that to operate your new seats.... Um, gotta love having those seat heaters on the really cold winter days.

You'll have no problem with the tracks fitting, i swapped out my manual seat tracks for '03 power tracks with no problem. You'll probably have to run your own power wires, there weren't any in my '05 sport. You will need a self resetting circuit breaker (see BluPhant's write up). I ran a power wire from one of the relays under the dash and a ground to each seat. Cut the seat belt sensor connector on the chassis side, combined it with my power and ground and made a new connector for it. Cut the power/seat belt sensor connector on the track side, made the matching connector...that's all you'll need to do for the power seat tracks on both sides.
