Okay I just found a this... Quote: Chrysler 8.25 27 spline Powertrax Lock-Rite Locker (10k miles) locks and engages just fine $185 OBO ... and was wondering if it would work in the KJ. Not quite what I want for the rear end but for that price it would work for now.

The KJ's 8.25 is 29-spline,so no it won't work sorry. |

It's not the same axle and it's quite a bit weaker. Read through some of the webpages, a lot of people complain about the 27 spline. |
