Has anyone taken off the rear fender flare? More specifically the piece that is on the actual door? I know there are four plastic rivits to drill out, but there it one real one (I think). How did you take this piece off? I need to gain access to it because it rattles with my stereo and need to insulate it.

You dont need to drill those plastic rivets, just hit them (to the center of rivet) with center punch or with small screwdriver. Center part goes in and rivet loosens.

I drilled the metal rivet and installed new one when installing flares back.

How hard was it to install the new metal rivit? THats the only one I'm really worried about.
