Just wondering if any of the tools in my off-road kit need to be SAE? |

The only thing that comes to mind that might be SAE is litle stuff like the bolts on hose clamps or other small assembly items, but I would think even most of those would be metric. I do know when I would work on my '98 Dakota that I used metrics all the time and I haven't used an SAE wrench yet on my Jeep. |

Funny you should ask. I replaced my brake pads on my 2003 renegade yesterday and the two bolts that hold the rear caliper on are 1/2" SAE. I thought this was weird; I have done quite a bit of wrenching on my KJ and it was the first fastener that I have fouun that is not metric or Torx. |

That is weird. When I would replace the brake pads on my Dakota the bolts holding the caliper assembly on took a 7mm allen wrench |
