So my dealer has two 05s left that have Trak-Lok. I was wondering about ordering an 06 (to get it exactly the way I want it) and I see NO mention in the brochure about Trak-Lok. Is it standard now (doubt - then they's mention it at least once) or is it not available? |

trak lock isnt much of a step up from an open diff anyway. most get replaced with a locker of course i dont know what your l;ocker options will be on the 06 |

Traction Control is part of the Electronic Stability Program being offered in the '06's. From what I've read, it's supposed to act kind of like an electronic limited slip. When it senses one wheel spinning it will apply the brake to the spinning wheel causing the other wheel (that hopefully has better traction) to turn. It sounds interesting in theory, and I'll be interested to hear some real world feedback. |
