The shady finance guy that is almost at the bottom of the list of people I trust in the world said he could cut me a deal and sell me the extended warranty at employee price. What u think? |

The answer depends on you - questions to think about. 1) Make sure it's a DC warranty - not 3rd party, several horror stories about them 2) How long are you planning on keeping the jeep? 3) How many mod's do you plan on making? Warranty only covers stock, not mod's and some dealers want to deny warranty for modifications - (not legal but if you have to hire a lawyer - it's expensive) 4) How mechanical are you? do you want to install the lift? the locker? headers? Are you comfortable troubleshooting a jeep with 50-60,000 miles on it? (almost no one except a dealer can troubleshoot ECM, BCM, TCM computers - and they just swap what the computer says) - in general - warranties are expensive insurance policies with little payback - but under the right circumstances they can be very good. |

get the warranty for piece of mind - but make sure it's a Chrylser warranty like ATX mentioned... those aftermarket warranties are a scam |
