| Post subject: | Water marks on seat?!? |
Hey everyone i just had a few questions involving my cloth seats....i have an 05' KJ and i have never spilt anything on my seats except an ice pack for a leg or rain drops coming through an open window and i started noticing water stains, is this common with anyone else? i have used a steam cleaner on the front buckets and that left nothing behind, so i was just curious if this happens with anyone else with cloth seats? does it happen to pre 05' models? any replies would be appreciated thank you! |

Are you talking about cloth or leather seats? |

Same here with my 2003 cloth seats, it rains a lot up here in the highlands and walking the dog sometimes turns into swimming with the dog They fade away after a while but will stay vissible if you know where to look. |

I noticed significant wear with my leather seats on my 2002, they kind of have a blueish tint to them where you would sit when you first get in (on the side). Some very minor cracking as well, I dont know if it would be a problem in the future but right now its not bad |

Having leather myself, I would suggest seat covers for cloth owners. A PowerSeller @ ebay has a store & lists auctions there. The covers (leather / vinyl - I think?) are custom "glove fit" for the KJ. Supossedly they are not just generic slip covers. Do a search @ ebay to find them. |

That would be nice just for the cloth seats too. Thanks! |
