So I went to the dealer today to have my computer recalibrated to my 245/75's and they said no problem, I go to pick it up later and they tell me that can't do it, I need to replace some Tone ring in the rear diff and then they tried to charge me for doing nothing.

Anyways, is this true, do I need to replace something? or go to another dealer?...of it's an 02 sport auto

No,Iverson Max DCX dealer in Mitchell SD did mine, they had to recalibrate the PCM not only my 265/75's but also the 4.10's.They have to rewright the program that the tone ring/VSS uses to calculate the vehicle speed. There are I think 2-3 presets cause of the different tire sizes availible for the KJ but they need to wright one for the 245's.Also you have to find a tech that know's how to do it also, the dealer you went to must have all idiots working there that don't understand the Jeep's computer system.Find a dealer that has some modified TJ's or XJ's in the employee parking lot.
