Go to http://www.Edmunds.com They will tell you what the invoice price is on the vehicle you want and what kind of money you can get the dealer to take right off the top with no argument. Not to mention they'll show you what the invoice prices are for all the options and packages. I used this info to get my 2003 Renegade for $500 below dealer invoice.

IMO Probably 19k or less would be a really good deal. Some people are paying less for manual tranny KJs because they are harder to sell. Might be a little harder to negotiate the price since you are ordering it, but better off getting exactly what you want.

I was shooting for $18,500 which I don't know if it's realistic, but I'll try anway.
I'm hoping the rebate goes up to $4,000 before it gets here.
Won't know until April 3rd though, when the old rebate expires.

If you want a really good deal wait until the summer (mid-July or August) when the current KJ is out of production and dealers are trying to move all of the old inventory in anticipation to the KK arriving in September.

That's when you can really get a fantastic deal on a new Liberty.
