My wife and I are planning to explore the Arizona strip (region north of the Grand Canyon, south of Zion) this spring. We will be in the area from May 23 to May 30. We were hoping some LOST folks would like to do some exploring with us. There is a lot of stuff in the Arizona strip and in the area (Hole in the Rock, etc) we would love to try.

So check you calendars, offer your suggestions and perhaps we can arrange some sort of a group event.

I know this belongs down in the trips section but few seemed to see it there so I thought I'd post here. We cannot make the LOST Moab run , and these are the only two week both of us can get off at the same time.

I'd love to, but unfortunately I can't make it. I've been wanting to spend some time in that area after reading the two part article in 4wd and SUV magazine last year. They spent like 7 days off pavement and almost 500 miles between gas stations. They went on some trail that actually took them down into the Grand Canyon. Looks like there is a lot of history to explore in the AZ strip. Have fun and take lots of pictures for us unfortunates that can't go.

If you have not posted there yet, be sure to post up in the L.O.S.T. AZ section too.
I will actually be in AZ the weekend of the 26th but it will be for my parents 40th anniversary so I won't be able to squeeze in any wheeling. (man I wish they would buy a Jeep!) Sounds like a great trip, have fun!

Yeah, Jg45, every since I read those articles I have wanted to go there.
Thanks for the suggestion, JJ. Sorry we can't wheel together but enjoy the family event.
