Post subject: | Fainting KJ? |
well today i was going to pull out a friend of mine (winch gets you alot of friends) and everything was going good and i drove past him and turned her around to pull him out forwards ( this was on a semi-narrow road). so I turn left, reverse to opposite side of road, go to shift from reverse to drive, and when i hit drive, it dies.. I put it in nuetral, looked around to see if there was any warning lights or anything, nothing... start it up,and it starts and runs like normal, shift into drive and everything is fine. The one mud hole i went through had mainly water, about 1/2-3/4 up my tires... any ideas? Hydrolock? fluke? |

I have had this happen before during very wet/snowy conditions. I think it has to do with the speed sensor wires getting wet or losing connectivity under the KJ or inside the cab. I think there is a recent post in here somewhere with a few peoples personal (similar) experiences. |
