Ok I am reading about this sea foam on the boards lately, What exactly is it, what does it do, how do you do it, and when do you do it?

Sea Foam cleans the top half of your motor when added the way I did it. Things like the intake valves, pistons and catalytic converter. On the front of your brake booster there are 2 small hoses. Start her up, pull off the larger of the 2 hoses. That is pulling a vacuum, or sucking. You will notice a change in the RPM's...don't worry about that. Very, VERY slowly put the hose into the can. If you try to go too fast you will stall the motor.

The can is 1 pint. The instructions say to use 1/3 of it when done this way. If you get a very clean can, something like one of the small tuna fish cans you could pour the stuff in it so you can see what you are doing. Then get ready for the show! Rev it up and out will come all the smoke and I guess the dirt too. Very much smoke so do it outside.

Terry

Pour it in the oil and drive it some then change the oil.

Pour it in the gas tank.

Throw the empty can at a random passer by-er.

:)

Never had a problem with it burning out a Oxygen sensor or a catalyst on my vehicles.

I did the foam at 60K miles and didn't get much smoke. Not too much carbon inside my motor.
