I did a search and someone said they tapped the fused ignition wire for their evic into a blk/org wire for the ignition. Not to sure where that is...where did other people tap into....i'm looking for somewhere easy as I hate messing with electrical components.

Thanks

********edit** I went out and tapped into the blck/org wire because I noticed the display would flash every 5 or so seconds even with the ignition off. It still does. Any clues why this would happen?? poor ground wire tap? hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm

If i'm not mistaken it runs up the steering column to the ignition switch. I can't even remember where i tapped mine at. The blk/org wire sounds familiar though. Pretty sure i tapped that for my remote start.

Are you looking to wire the evic up to something specific, or will any source of power do if it works properly? I thought a fused ignition wire was any wire that received power only when the vehicle was turned on or the key was in the accessory position? I didn't wire my evic up to a wire in the steering column, i ran it into a fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side dash. I wish I had KJ right now so i could go outside and tell you which fuse. I looked in the owners manual to choose which one to use. Look for things that work only when the KJ is on (like the radio) and tap into the fuse for that.
