My libby has no alarm. Need one. was figuring I could just slap the mopar one in (i have keyless entry). Is this realistic? What is the name of the part/alarm? |

Is their a "motion" sensor that can be added to the Mopar alarm? I thought some where on here their was a post where someone added this to their OEM alarm. Edit: Never mind I found it. |

roll down a window and lock your jeep. reach through the window, and open the door from the inside. If it goes HONK HONK HONK, you have the alarm. if not, you're like me and only have the keyless entry. |

If you have a panic button on the key fob, does tha mean you have an alarm? |

There are "keyless entry upgrade" alarms available. It will allow you to use your key fob and operate a better security system. Here are some examples: Comandohttp://www.commandoalarms.com/itm100022.htm Enforcerhttp://www.enforcer.com.tw/vehicle/sli_820.htm Viperhttp://www.viper.com/Products/Product.aspx?ProductID=111 Hornet 727T The last one listed I had in my previous vehicle. |

fwiw, I have the alarm and there is a red light on the dash that flashes when it's active. It's the same light that blinks when you're programming a key. I have a 2007 limited. |

There you go no blinking light on the dash board when you lock your doors with the key fob that means no alarm. |
