What is the best way to remove the dealerships logo (decal) on the rear of the vehicle :?: It makes the Jeep Look tacky. I’m choosey when it comes to who I want to advertise (endorse) on my vehicle. Plus I need room for cool badges, like the LOST TRAIL TESTED badge. :D

If it's a molded plastic logo like the '4x4' and '3.7L' badges, take some dental floss and skootch it underneath like you're trying to saw it off, it should come off. If it's a regular film/paper/printed plastic type decal, try taking a hair dryer/hot-air gun to it and it should come off with some fingernail action. The hair dryer/hot-air gun will also help with loosening up the adhesive on the molded plastic ones as well.

This is the reason I made sure to tell the dealer "when the Liberty arrives make sure not to put your advertisement on it".

Yank it out in the hot weather and use tar remover. You might need to wax the whole rear gate, because I didn't and it looks like stupid now! :( but no darn dealer badge anymore.

I have used the hair dryer method on both my KJ and my Dakota to completely debadge them. I didnt like having anything on it so I removed them all. What really helps once you have them off though is "Goo Gone". It is awesome for removing any residual glue on the paint.

Haha, I don't have kids and I know what goo gone is. Of course that's only because my dad taught me what it was when I was a kid

MEK will take your dealer's ad off the rear tire cover if you had one like we did. the cover with just Jeep on it was $50, heck with that, made my own.

Thanks for all the tips. :D Where do I pickup Goo Gone? Since the Jeep is an 07, maybe it wont be too sticky and hard to get off, or is it called wishful thinking?

how about taking it to the stealership and telling them to take their ad off or they can pay you per mile for advertising?
