Hello from Anchorage. I am enjoying my CRD for the second year. I've done the ORM, and have an ARB front bumper. Not sure if this is the right forum for a question, and if not maybe you can redirect me. I would like to flat tow the Liberty behind my motorhome. Any pointers from members? Specifically, where should I connect a tow bar for the ARB? Thanks Smile

I can't say for sure since I don't have an ARB but, I'd guess that you'll have to fabricate one that attaches to the tow hook points?

I'm not sure how with that ARB, You may need to do a mod and put it in the tech section. Oh by the way welcome to the club.

I towed a KJ for 6 years behind my motorhome. Visited all but 3 of the lower 48. Lived in it full time. But, mine has a stock front bumper. Take you KJ to an RV dealer and have one of the workers check it out for you. They will know how the base plate has to hook up. Also get yourself a break away brake system for the KJ. Don't get one that is hard wired to the KJ.

Thanks guys. The ARB has two down-directed eyelets that look like they have sufficient strength to tow from. The suggestion to go to an RV dealer was great. So obvious I wish I'd thought of it myself! I'll head out to the RV lots today and see what's available. If the fix is interesting, I'll post pics when I've got the thing hooked up to the ARB.
Spencevans, how do you like your snorkel?
