My Rock Rails are starting to rust. Can anyone recommend a spray on bed liner (preferably a dark grey or black color) that I can use myself? ![]() Thanks in advance!! - Brian |

![]() Thanks in advance!! - Brian I've used Herculiner with good results. ETA: Sorry, I've only used it as roll-on application. But, that should work for rock rails. |

Go to auto zone and buy some cans of the spray on undercoating. I used this to cover up the pounded down pinch weld cover and some other things. it is cheap and works awesome! |

I had Line-X do mine, but Hurculiner looks like it would be good for DIY. the spray can stuff is good for some stuff,(pinche weld, hitch, Etc. but a bit thin for rockrails IMO |

Cheap and easy touch up ... I use it on my rocklizard rear bumper and fender flares. They'll probably scratch off the flare ... oh well. |

But think about it, Even all that expensive bedliner stuff will not hold up to thrashing on the rocks. Thats why I suggested going the cheap route, easy inexpensive touch up, like dirtykj said. My $1.05 |

I dont know if I would do bedliner on there. First, its gonna get damaged quickly and probably start to flake off when it does. Second, its more expensive than paint. And finally, I dont know if I would want the extra grip on rockrails. |

I hear you guys, but if your not scraping them all the time the Line-X looks real nice, did the brush guard too. No chips, no peeling and no rust and it has been about 3 years now ![]() ![]() |

If you are planing on hitting rocks or using them alot do not bedliner them. I did that to my broncos rock rails as a experiment and it just peeled right off on my first trip out on the rocks. |

I plan to use a roll-on bedliner on the top of my step-skinks but only on the part that I'll be using for steps. The rest is just gonna get a gloss black that I can touch up easily and cheaply. |
