After 18 months my Sirius Radio stopped working this AM. So now I have to call and have it turned back on. They just let me get used to it and now I have to have it. 62 miles one way to work the Sirius worked great.

Uh oh. It's been a couple of years now...and we are getting to really like it. Shame if we have to start paying for it!

Called last night and they say that my pre-paid subscribtion ran out on the 11th. Guess I start paying now. Got used to Andrew Wilkow and G. Gordon Liddy on the way home from work. And NASCAR was nice. They still have the LIfetime thing for $499.99. But you can only change radios 3 times, not much of a Lifetime if you ask me.

Better than the Tivo lifetime subscription I have. It's only good for one device...and now they don't offer it anymore.

Best entertainment for the buck, IMHO. compare that price with anything else for a little over ten bucks a month.

Myth TV, here

My setup:
Gentoo, 2.6.21-ck
MythTV
Hauppauge WinTV/PVR
Built-in MCP6150 (Nvidia) ... it's OK, but ATI AVIVO would be better
Lots of *.vob files
50" panel via DVI <-> HDMI cable
Logitech 5.1 DTS/THX speaker set, currently hooked up via analog cables (so Xine is doing software decoding).

I'd have to say, scaling the mpeg data up to 1366x768 makes video look so much better :)

I'm hopefully installing my sirius this afternoon...looking forward to having a legiable display on my head unit instead of the 8 characters the terk xm direct displays. I agree, once you go with satellite radio, regular radio will just not cut it.

Myth TV is very good, but if you aren't a Linux person, there are a couple of open source choices for windows. The best one i found is MediaPortal.
