I have an 04 with 70,000 miles on the 3.7 and drive 110 miles a day to and from work. About 98 % of my driving is all highway, and I really need to find something to help boost my MPG's. I bought a "chip" from eBay that turned out to be nothing more then a resistor, and it didn't do jack! I do not mind spending money as long as it is a legit product. Thanks in advance. |

I wouldn't rely on a chip to boost your gas mileage. You mentioned that you have high mileage on the Jeep, so try doing things like switching to all synthetic fluids for oil, x-fer cases and transmission where applicable. Run Seafoam through the engine to clean out all the carbon deposits and other nasty stuff. Use cruise control and don't speed. Make sure your tires are properly inflated and your alignment is true, change your spark plugs and so on and so forth. There are a bunch of threads that you can find in this forum to help you get maximum mileage out of your Liberty. Some people are getting over 21 mpg! Just do a little browsing around. Look HERE for starters. |
