I was wondering if I could use the existing for light plug-ins and mount some Hella 500 fog lights in their spot and replace the stock renegade fog lights? can i just cut and hook up the new lights to the existing wires, or would i need to run new wiring? thanks!

Shouldnt need new wiring unless you put 100watt bulbs in those hellas or something.

What is the watts on the stock lights?

not sure of the wiring. I was thinking of cutting the wires on the fogs where they hook into the Fog light, half-way inbetween the connection and the lamp housing. I was going to get some 500 fogs and connect them right up to the old fog lights so the little pull out part on the turn signal stick will still work with the 500 fogs.

you could still do that without hacking the fog light connectors. just use the fog light ground coming off the turnsignal stalk and wire that up to a relay. I did a write up on how to keep the fogs on with the high beams over on jeep kj counrty.

Stock fogs are 27 watt bulbs.
