That's weird. I thought that the square steel bar was supposed to be flush with the rocker panel and only the "tube" part of the slider was supposed to protrude from the rocker. Is there something different about your sliders? Are they "Super Duper Skink Sliders?"
Here's mine...see what I mean? The only part protruding from under the rocker is the tube.

Looks great!

They look like they stick out further because the 02-04's don't have that plastic on the rockers. The sliders are built in the same jig exactly the same for 02-07, the only difference being the 05-07's main bar (and outer round bar for the Super Skinks) are longer since the flares don't come down and get in the way.

Yup, that's why the All J's boulder bars changed for '05 and up.

Looks great USP! Do you have the white leather? It's wierd looking at your steel blue KJ, looks just like mine but with some different details. Pretty rare color, I like how yours is built :)

My seats are not really white but off-white.

I like how these bars stick out, you should have seen all of the paint streaks on my Mopar sidesteps from other drivers "Braile parking".
